A person is eligible to make application to the committee and receive a license if such person is actively engaged in the practice of perfusion consistent with this chapter and if such person, on January 1, 2000, has at least four (4) years' experience, within the immediately preceding six (6) years, operating cardiopulmonary bypass systems during cardiac surgical cases in a licensed health care facility as the person's primary function.Acts 1999, ch. 239, § 3.
