Section 63-5-123 - Administration of COVID-19 vaccine by dentist

(a) As used in this section, 'COVID-19' means an infectious respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus named SARS-CoV-2, or a mutation of that coronavirus.(b) Notwithstanding a law to the contrary, a dentist licensed under this chapter may administer a vaccination against COVID-19 if the dentist has received appropriate training as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.Added by 2021 Tenn.
