(a) It is a Class B misdemeanor, and disqualifies for office, for the board to issue a license to any person except as prescribed in this chapter. Should the board be so disqualified, the governor shall appoint a new board in full as provided in this chapter.(b) In no event shall the negligent issuance of a license result in criminal prosecution under this chapter.Acts 1901, ch. 78, § 22; Shan., § 3609a36; mod.
