Section 63-6-227 - Cancellation of license upon conviction

The license of any physician or surgeon who is convicted of a violation of § 63-6-225 may, upon the first conviction, and shall, upon any subsequent conviction, be adjudged to be cancelled and annulled by the court before which the conviction may be and, without further trial or hearing, the physician or surgeon shall not thereafter again be admitted to practice medicine or surgery within this state.Acts 1989, ch. 591, § 3.
