Section 63-9-119 - Employee or contractor's unauthorized use of osteopathic physician's DEA registration number to write prescriptions

(a) Any osteopathic physician licensed pursuant to this chapter who has reason to believe that an employee or contractor of the physician or the physician's firm, partnership or corporation has used the physician's federal drug enforcement administration (DEA) registration number without authorization to write prescriptions may make a report to a law enforcement agency.(b) Any osteopathic physician, firm, partnership, or corporation making a report pursuant to subsection (a) shall be immune from any civil liability for making such report when made in good faith. Acts 2012 , ch. 818, § 2.
