(a) The board may appoint an advisory committee from a list of nominees submitted by each county mayor to consist of one (1) farmer, or one (1) person engaged in agribusiness marketing, or one (1) person from a financial institution, and the agricultural extension agent from each participating county.(b) If appointed by the board, it shall be the duty of the advisory committee to consult with and advise the board regarding the operation and financial management of the authority.Acts 1998, ch. 998, § 6; 2003, ch. 90, § 2.
