The employees of the authority are eligible for membership in the Tennessee consolidated retirement system pursuant to title 8, chapter 35, part 2, and the board shall provide the necessary contributions to the Tennessee consolidated retirement system for its employees. This section does not preclude the board from contracting with individuals for their personal services under a contract of limited duration and not including retirement benefits to such individuals.Acts 1986, ch. 789, § 16; 2003, ch. 12, § 9.
