No member of a railroad train crew shall be held personally guilty of violating a municipal ordinance regulating the blocking of street crossings by trains or cars, on proof that such action was necessary to comply with the orders or instructions of the crew member's employer or its officers; provided, that nothing in this section shall relieve the employer or railway from any responsibility placed upon it by the ordinance.Acts 1949, ch. 159, § 1; C.
