Section 65-3-114 - Witness failing to obey subpoena

In case any witness fails or refuses to obey a subpoena, the department of transportation may issue an attachment for such witness, directed to any sheriff or constable of the state, and compel the witness to attend before the department of transportation and give testimony upon such matters as shall be lawfully required by it.Acts 1897, ch. 10, § 10; Shan., § 3059a31; Code 1932, § 5407; T.C.A.
