This part shall not operate to repeal or affect any of the laws of the state relating to mechanics' and materialmen's liens, specifically part 1 of this chapter, but shall be held and construed as ancillary and supplemental thereto.Acts 1975, ch. 364, § 7; T.C.A., § 64-1158.
