If no bond has been given, the court shall, at the appearance term, order the boat, or such part of the furniture and tackle as may be sufficient, to be sold for the satisfaction of the judgment; and the sheriff shall accordingly sell the same, first advertising the time and place of sale at least ten (10) days prior to the sale.Code 1858, § 3560 (deriv.
