Section 66-24-109 - Fees for reregistration or rerecording

The register registering or recording such deeds or other instruments in writing heretofore recorded shall be entitled to demand and receive for such register's services compensation in accordance with the schedule set forth in § 8-21-1001; provided, that nothing in this section shall be construed as authorizing or requiring the payment or collection of any additional transfer or other tax as a condition of such reregistration or rerecording.Acts 1895, ch. 24, § 2; Shan., § 3700; mod.
