(a) No deed of conveyance of real property, except for a deed of trust or mortgage, shall be prepared unless there is included at the end of the legal description the name, license number and address of the surveyor who prepared the boundary survey from which the description was prepared. However, if no boundary survey was made at the time of conveyance and the legal description is different from the previous deed of record, the source of the new description shall be indicated. If the legal description is the same as in the previous deed of record, it shall be so stated.(b) A failure to comply with the requirements of this section shall not affect the validity of the registration of any registered instrument.Acts 1991, ch. 432, § 1, 2.
