(a) All acquisition agents and their representatives, as defined in § 66-32-102, shall register with the commission and furnish such information as provided by commission regulation. The application for registration shall be accompanied by a twenty-five dollar ($25.00) registration fee.(b) The commission has the authority to assess civil penalties, or to suspend or revoke the registration of an acquisition agent, for any activity or conduct in violation of § 62-13-312 or § 66-32-121. The commission also has the authority to promulgate rules and guidelines for the training and conduct of acquisition agents.Acts 2000, ch. 861, § 3.
