When a compressed natural gas motor vehicle is sold or transferred, the seller and the purchaser shall notify the commissioner within ten (10) days of the sale or transfer, and the purchaser shall register with the department. Acts 1997, ch. 316, § 1; T.C.A., § 67-3-2218.
