Section 67-5-1405 - Examination of assessors by board

It is the duty of the board to bring before it the assessor of property or deputy assessor of the county, and propound to the assessor or deputy assessor such questions as are, in the opinion of the board, proper to ascertain the manner in which the classification, value or assessment of the property was determined by the assessor or deputy assessor, and such other questions as will aid the board in the equalization of assessments.Acts 1973, ch. 226, § 10; T.C.A., § 67-804.
