A municipal legislative body may finance storm water facilities under the Local Government Public Obligations Act of 1986, compiled in title 9, chapter 21. To protect the public health and to assure payment of bonds issued for storm water facilities, the municipality may by appropriate ordinance or resolution use the procedures set forth in §§ 68-221-208 and 68-221-209, for payment and collection of charges.Acts 1993, ch. 257, § 8.
