(a) In allocating state grants under this part, the department shall give consideration to, and apply, the similar standards, criteria and measures of eligibility as prescribed by this part and the rules of the department.(b) Eligibility to receive federal funds shall not be a condition precedent to receiving an allocation of state grants if such project otherwise qualifies for such grant.Acts 1967, ch. 362, § 3; 1978, ch. 843, § 3; T.C.A., § 53-2019; Acts 1989, ch. 233, § 9; T.C.A., § 68-13-203.
