Section 68-221-710 - Emergency plan for provision of water

(a) The commissioner shall develop a plan for the provision of safe drinking water under emergency circumstances.(b) When, in the judgment of the commissioner, emergency circumstances exist in the state with respect to a need for safe drinking water, the commissioner may take such actions as the commissioner may deem necessary in order to provide such water where it otherwise would not be available.Acts 1983, ch. 324, § 11; T.C.A., § 68-13-710.
