The commissioner of finance and administration, on approval of the fiscal review committee, may procure indemnity insurance, indemnifying the heads of departments of health for the state, counties and cities throughout the state against actions claimed to arise out of acts of omission or commission of such personnel performed in the course of their official duties.Acts 1971, ch. 417, § 1; T.C.A., § 53-120.
