Section 68-1-116 - Licenses and renewals for registered professional environmentalists

(a) Notwithstanding any provision of this chapter to the contrary, all persons who wish to obtain a license as a registered professional environmentalist must, by August 31, 1994, submit an application to the board, accompanied by a nonrefundable fee as set by the state board of examiners for registered professional environmentalists. In addition, an applicant shall successfully pass an examination approved by the board by September 30, 1994.(b) After August 31, 1994, all persons who wish to renew a license as a registered professional environmentalist shall submit an application for renewal to the department of health. The department may set fees for the renewal of licenses pursuant to this section.Acts 1994, ch. 916, § 3.
