Section 68-1-124 - Coordination of programs to prevent and treat diabetes - Central data repository

The commissioner is authorized to appoint an individual within the department to coordinate with other state government departments and agencies to ensure that all programs that impact the prevention and treatment of diabetes are coordinated, that duplication of efforts are minimized, and that the impact of the programs is maximized in an attempt to reduce the health consequences and complications of diabetes in this state.
