(a) No later than July 15 of each year, the department of health shall issue an advisory to the department of education which shall be distributed to schools serving students in grades kindergarten through twelve (K-12) and in early childhood programs explaining the risks of community-associated methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections and providing guidance on the most current methods on recognizing and preventing these infections.(b) The departments of health and education shall also prominently display on their websites links to this information.
