Section 68-1-801 - Part definitions

As used in this part, unless the context otherwise requires:(1) 'Commissioner' means the commissioner of health or the commissioner's designated representative;(2) 'Committee' means the perinatal advisory committee;(3) 'Department' means the department of health; and(4) 'Perinatal' means the period from time of conception through the first year of life of the infant and sixty (60) days post partum for the mother.Acts 1974, ch. 645, § 1; 1977, ch. 327, § 1; T.C.A., § 53-127.
