Section 68-10-109 - Rules and bylaws for control of sexually transmitted diseases

(a) The department of health is empowered and directed to make such rules and bylaws for the control of STDs, not in conflict with this chapter, including the reporting of STDs and isolating and quarantining of infected persons, as it may from time to time deem advisable.(b) All rules and bylaws made pursuant to subsection (a) shall be of force and binding upon the state, municipal and county health officers, and all other persons affected by the rules and regulations, and shall have the force and effect of law.Acts 1921, ch. 106, § 10; impl. am.
