Section 68-11-611 - Validity of bonds

(a) Bonds issued pursuant to this part bearing the signatures, or facsimiles of the signatures of the officers in office on the date of the signing of the bonds shall be valid and binding obligations, notwithstanding that before the delivery of the bonds and payment for the bonds, any or all the persons whose signatures or facsimile signatures appear on the bonds shall have ceased to be officers of the county or municipality issuing the bonds.(b) The validity of the bonds shall not be dependent on nor affected by the validity or regularity of any proceedings relating to the acquisition, purchase, construction, reconstruction, improvement, betterment, extension or equipping of the medical arts building for which the bonds are issued.(c) The bond resolution shall provide that the bonds contain a recital that they are issued pursuant to this part, which recital shall be conclusive evidence of their validity and of the regularity of their issuance.Acts 1974, ch. 601, § 11; T.C.A., § 53-5911.
