Section 68-2-607 - Contracts and gifts

(a) County health departments may enter into agreements, contracts or arrangements with governmental entities or other persons as necessary or appropriate to assist the county health department in carrying out its duties and functions, unless otherwise prohibited by law, and in accordance with the law, rules and procedures of this state and the local governing entity.(b)(1) County health departments may accept gifts, grants, bequests and other donations for use in performing the county health department's programs.(2) Funds or property accepted shall be used as directed by its donor and in accordance with the law, rules and procedures of this state and the local governing entity.Acts 1985, ch. 172, § 1.
