The determination and pronouncement of death may be made by a physician assistant licensed under title 63, chapter 19, part 1, so long as this task is expressly included in the written protocol developed jointly by the physician assistant and the collaborating physician setting forth the range of services that may be performed by that physician assistant.Amended by 2018 Tenn.
