The department of health may establish a program for the care and treatment of persons suffering from epilepsy and other seizure disorders. This program shall assist persons suffering from such conditions who require care and treatment for the disease, but who are unable to pay for services on a continuing basis.Acts 1978, ch. 833, § 1; T.C.A., §§ 53-6601, 68-49-101; Acts 2003, ch. 355, § 49.
