Section 68-55-304 - Additional fine for driving under the influence to be paid into the traumatic brain injury fund

Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, in addition to any other fines imposed by § 55-10-403, for driving under the influence of an intoxicant, marijuana, narcotic drug, or drug producing stimulating effects on the central nervous system prohibited under § 55-10-401, there is imposed an additional fine of fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each such violation to be earmarked for and paid into the general fund reserve account created by § 68-55-401 for the traumatic brain injury fund.Acts 1993, ch. 443, § 14; 2004, ch. 827, § 4.
