The department may establish and maintain one (1) or more detention facilities as the commissioner deems appropriate to sufficiently confine all persons who refuse to be examined, treated, isolated or quarantined as provided for by this part.Acts 1971, ch. 210, § 23; 1977, ch. 145, § 14; T.C.A., § 53-1042.
