Section 68-106-102 - Restrictions on children on highways to solicit or collect money

(a) A county may by resolution, and a municipality may by ordinance, prohibit or restrict a child from being present in the roadway of a highway or an intersection for the purpose of the child's participation in soliciting or collecting money.(b) This section shall not apply to private roads or driveways, nor shall this section prevent children from using sidewalks.Added by 2013 Tenn.
