The application for a license shall be processed within twenty (20) days of receipt and shall be issued if there is compliance with all of the conditions. If for some reason the license is not granted, the department shall return the license fee to the applicant and a written statement of why the license was denied.Acts 1974, ch. 454, § 7; T.C.A., §§ 53-5707, 68-42-107.
