(a) Notwithstanding any provision of this chapter to the contrary, the commission may authorize international qualifying events for kickboxing to occur in this state if the events meet the standards required for such events by the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations or any subsequent entity recognized as the official kickboxing governing body by the International World Games Association.(b) Pursuant to § 68-115-201, the commission shall promulgate rules to effectuate this section.
