This part applies to publicly and privately-owned facilities where the public congregates that are constructed, structurally altered or renovated after May 9, 1994. Implementation of this part shall be based upon contracts for design or construction signed on or after the effective date of the rules and regulations promulgated under this part. Such contracts for design or construction shall be submitted to the responsible authority at the same time as required in part 2 of this chapter. The responsible authority shall be responsible for the enforcement of this part in the same manner as provided in part 2 of this chapter.Acts 1994, ch. 934, § 5.
