Section 68-122-116 - Receipt for fees - Fee increase as penalty - Fee exemptions

(a) The chief inspector shall give an official receipt for all fees, which shall constitute expendable receipts of the department in addition to the appropriations otherwise available.(b) The fee for any inspection or inspection certificate under this chapter shall be increased fifty percent (50%) if such fee is not paid within sixty (60) days from the date of the invoice for such inspection or certificate.(c) The inspection and inspection certificate fees prescribed in this part shall not apply to boilers located in municipalities having valid laws, ordinances or regulations that comply with the standards defined in § 68-122-105(c).Acts 1985, ch. 362, § 16; 1989, ch. 11, § 8; T.C.A., § 68-20-116.
