The commissioner of health may consider the following criteria in designating regional control centers:(1) Compliance or expected compliance with the state poison control standards;(2) Location in relation to the geographical distribution of persons served;(3) Whether the facility is presently providing poison control services; and(4) The capacity of such providers to deliver and coordinate poison prevention awareness programs to the general public.Acts 1991, ch. 393, § 3; T.C.A., § 68-43-102.
