Section 69-10-111 - Notice of intent to drill

No water well or geothermal well shall be drilled unless the well owner or the well driller, on behalf of the well owner, has previously notified the commissioner of the intent to drill a well in the manner prescribed by the commissioner. The notice of intent to drill shall include, at a minimum, the name and address of the owner and the location of the well. The fee for the notification shall be submitted by the well owner or the well driller in accordance with the requirements of the rules but no later than the report of well driller pursuant to § 69-10-103.Acts 2002, ch. 800, § 19; T.C.A. § 69-11-111.
