If, at the time set for the hearing, it appears to the court that any person entitled to notice as provided has not had such notice, the hearing shall be adjourned until such person can be given the required notice, and the court shall not lose jurisdiction of the subject matter or of the person already properly notified by such adjournment or postponement.
