Section 69-5-809 - Employment of counsel - Payment of fee

When any appeal is taken from any order of the county court made in any proceedings before it under this chapter, the county court may employ counsel to represent the interests of the levee or drainage district affected by such appeal, on the trial thereof in the appellate courts, and the expense of such counsel shall be paid out of the drainage fund of such district.Acts 1909, ch. 185, § 14; Shan., § 3871a73; Code 1932, § 4301; T.C.A.
