(a) Any requirement of competitive bidding or restriction imposed on the procedure for award of contracts for the sale or other disposition of public property is not applicable to any action taken under authority of this chapter.(b) The transactions undertaken pursuant to this chapter shall not be subject to any antitrust law now or hereafter in effect in this state.Acts 1979, ch. 439, § 1; T.C.A., § 6-4417.
