The qualifications of a metropolitan hearing officer are as follows:(1) A resident of the county, having been a resident for at least three (3) years immediately prior to appointment; and(2) An attorney in good standing and licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee for at least three (3) years immediately prior to appointment.Acts 1983, ch. 346, § 3.
