(a) Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, any natural gas utility district that is located and operated in a tourist resort county may also provide natural gas service to consumers in any municipality in an adjacent tourist resort county.(b) As used in this section, 'tourist resort county' means a county having more than five percent (5%) of its territory located within the boundaries of a national park established pursuant to 16 U.S.C. § 403.Acts 1993, ch. 375, § 2.
