Nothing in this chapter shall affect or impair the control and jurisdiction that a municipality has over all property within its boundaries. The powers and authority granted by this chapter shall be in addition to any and all other powers and authority now residing with, or hereafter granted to, municipalities in the state, and all powers granted in this chapter shall be subject to the general control and jurisdiction of such municipalities.Acts 1971, ch. 268, § 41; T.C.A., § 6-3941.
