The governing body of the municipality shall determine whether municipally-owned property located within the district shall be assessed in the same manner as private property, and, if it does so determine, shall provide for such assessments in the ordinance creating the central business improvement district as authorized in § 7-84-208(5).Acts 1971, ch. 268, § 19; T.C.A., § 6-3919.
