Section 7-86-204 - Fire protection - No liability for costs of services rendered to a nonsubscriber

(a) If an emergency communications district requests fire protection services, and if a utility district providing fire protection services responds to a request for a nonsubscriber, then the emergency communications district has no liability for the cost of such service.(b) This section shall only apply in counties having a population of not less than eighty-five thousand eight hundred (85,800) nor more than eighty-six thousand one hundred (86,100), according to the 1990 federal census or any subsequent federal census.
