Section 7-86-309 - Other advisory committees

The board shall appoint advisory committees for the purpose of providing and receiving information to the board; the number of members on such committees shall be determined by the board. Such committees may include, but not be limited to, local government officials, consumers, 911 service users, law enforcement personnel, firefighting personnel, and emergency medical services personnel. Members of such advisory committees shall not be voting members of the board. No member of any such advisory committee is entitled to a salary for duties performed as a committee member. No member is entitled to reimbursement for travel and other necessary expenses incurred in the performance of official duties.Acts 1998, ch. 1108, § 13.
