Section 71-2-216 - Assistance not assignable - Exemption from execution

Assistance granted under this part is not transferable or assignable, at law or in equity, and none of the money paid or payable under this part shall be subject to execution, levy, attachment, garnishment or other legal process, or to the operation of any bankruptcy or insolvency law.Acts 1937, ch. 49, § 8; C.
