The commissioner of finance and administration and the comptroller of the treasury have the duty and authority to review and audit such expenditure of funds as may be made under this part. Nothing in this section shall limit the authority of the commissioner of finance and administration to ensure that program expenditures are maintained within legislative appropriations.Acts 2006, ch. 867, § 7.
