Section 71-4-1107 - Appeal to department

(a) If any award of assistance is modified or cancelled under any provision of this part, the recipient may appeal to the department in the manner and form prescribed by it.(b) The department shall, upon receipt of such an appeal, give the recipient reasonable notice and opportunity for a hearing.Acts 1953, ch. 16, § 9 (Williams, § 4765.161); Acts 1973, ch. 303, § 21; 1974, ch. 628, § 11; T.C.A.
